House of the senate and chamber of Deputies, The congreso is located on the other end of the Avenida de Mayo, where the Casa Rosada, house of Parliment is located.
Due to the fact that this year is an election year, 6month before the elections the room where the constitution is kept is locked up and unaccesible to anyone. Unfortunately we did not know this so waited until May to go visit the congres, just one month after the closing of the room.
However the visit is very interesting, lasts about 45minutes and the public are able to enter the senate and see the very modern electronic system present inside the voting rooms. The rooms are absolutely beautiful and huge paintings are present everywhere (as above)
