Mafalda

If you don't know Mafalda when going to Argentina, it's like not knowing Tintin when you go to Belgium or not knowing Denis the Menace in the UK!! Mafalda is the main Character in Argentine Cartoonist Quino's (Joaquin Salvador Lavado) cartoon strip.

This cartoon is not only for kids but also for adults as it has a very politcal twist to it but is still humouristic. She is always very concerned about humanity, but still finds the way to focus on other things like her hatred for soup.

In the middle of San Telmo, you can sit on the bench and take your picture with the famous Mafalda.
